Unlimited team members for ¥1,200 a month: booking and scheduling service Business Box launches team features
One flat price whatever the number of staff, automatic assignment of bookings by availability, and bookings completed entirely inside LINE
TOKYO, 16 October 2026: App Dev Plus G.K. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Ben Smith) has launched team features for Business Box (marubox.jp), its booking and scheduling service for small businesses.
With the new features, businesses on the paid plan, at ¥1,200 a month including tax, can invite as many team members as they like.
- Unlimited members: invite any number of people to the team for one flat price of ¥1,200 a month, tax included.
- Automatic assignment of bookings: bookings taken on a single booking page are assigned automatically, based on each member's availability.
- Booking in LINE: customers can now also book from a shop's or office's LINE Official Account without leaving LINE.
Background: simpler booking management for small businesses#
For shops, offices and other businesses where several staff take bookings, managing each person's schedule and sharing out bookings is part of the daily workload.
As a business adds staff, the cost of its booking tool often rises too, which can be a burden for businesses run by a small team.
To solve this, Business Box has built team features that cost one flat ¥1,200 a month, tax included, however many members the team has.
Each staff member's calendar and working hours are connected, and bookings are assigned automatically. That cuts the time spent managing bookings and makes day-to-day work more efficient.
Team features#
1. Unlimited members, one monthly price#
For ¥1,200 a month, tax included, a business can invite as many team members as it likes.
Invited members join the team with their own free accounts. Only the account that manages the booking pages is charged, and adding members does not change the price.
2. Automatic assignment of bookings#
Several members can share one booking page, and bookings are assigned automatically.
The member with the most free time that day is chosen first. After that, the time since each member's last booking is taken into account.
A specific service can also be pinned to one person.
3. Each member's own calendar and working hours#
- Each member connects their own Google Calendar or Outlook calendar and sets their own working hours.
- The details of events in their calendar are not shown to other members.
- Online meeting links for Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams can be created automatically for whoever takes the booking.
4. All of the team's bookings in one calendar#
- Day, week and month views show the whole team's bookings. The day view has a column per member, so everyone's schedule can be seen at a glance.
- Bookings can be dragged to a new time, or reassigned to a different member.
- When a booking is reassigned, the customer is told the name of their new staff member.
5. Access by member#
The owner can see all of the team's bookings. Each member sees only the bookings they are responsible for.
Also new: bookings completed entirely inside LINE#
As well as the team features, Business Box now supports booking through a LINE Official Account.
Book directly from LINE. Customers can book from the rich menu of a shop's or office's LINE Official Account without leaving LINE. They don't need to visit an external website, sign in or type an email address.
Confirmations in LINE too. When the LINE Official Account is connected, customers receive their booking confirmation as a LINE message.
No extra charge. Booking in LINE is included in the paid plan at ¥1,200 a month, tax included, with no additional usage fee.

Business Box is a booking and scheduling service for small businesses.
It has the features needed to manage bookings: a booking page, two-way sync with Google and Microsoft calendars, and card payment in advance through Stripe.
Card payments go directly into the business's own Stripe account. Business Box charges no additional payment fee; Stripe's standard processing fees apply separately.
