Photographers#
A shoot is two hours on site plus travel, and the editing afterwards is invisible in the diary but very real in the week.

Cherry blossom and autumn colour weekends sell out first and are weather-dependent. Take a deposit, say plainly what happens if it rains, and put that in the confirmation message where it is repeated in every reminder.

Small children set the hours, so mid-morning and late afternoon are the only slots that work.

Pre-wedding shoots for couples flying in from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore are a business of their own, booked months ahead in a foreign time zone and paid in yen up front. Give it its own event type, priced online.
Pre-wedding and engagement shoots#
Overseas couples pick a date before they book flights, so the calendar has to be open a year out and paid in advance.
