Online booking for private tutors
Every one of your students is free between four and eight in the evening, and so is every other student. The scarce resource is not your time in general — it is those four hours.
A 60-minute session event type, after-school and weekend hours only, paid online, with the curriculum named in the event name.
Four usable hours a day#
Tutoring happens after school and at weekends, and demand doubles for a month before exams and vanishes over the summer. A diary that does not reflect that will either sit empty or overcommit you in the worst month of the year.
There is also a matching problem. A parent whose child is doing IB Maths needs to know you teach IB, not "maths". Most tutor pages never say.

International-school families work to a different calendar from Japanese schools — IB and A-level deadlines, not 受験. Say which curriculum you tutor in the event name; it is what parents search for.
Only offer the hours that exist#
Weekdays 16:00–20:00, Saturdays 09:00–17:00. Set it once as your availability schedule and the calendar stops pretending Tuesday at 11:00 is possible.
Name the curriculum#
"IB Maths HL", "A-level Physics", "中学受験 algebra". Each as its own event type, so parents searching for a curriculum find the thing they were searching for.
Plan for the rush#
Before exams, raise your daily cap and open weekend mornings with date overrides. Afterwards, close them again. It takes a minute and it is the difference between a good May and an exhausting one. Date overrides

Common questions
How do I only take bookings after school?
Set your availability schedule to the hours you actually teach — weekdays from 16:00 and weekend mornings. Nothing outside those hours is ever offered.
Can parents book on behalf of a child?
Yes, and that is the normal case. Add booking form questions for the student’s name, year and school, so you know who is coming even though the parent booked.
How do I cope with the exam-season rush?
Raise Max bookings per day for those weeks and open extra days with date overrides, then put them back afterwards. Both take a minute.
