One event type cannot serve both, and treating them the same is how the pre-arrival call never gets booked.

A free first call, in their time zone#
Video, forty-five minutes, free, bookable six months ahead. They see your availability converted to their own time automatically, which removes the one thing that usually delays it.
Accompanied days as a product#
A half-day event type, paid online, with the description listing what gets done: 転入届, My Number, a bank account, a phone contract. It sells itself because it is the list your client has been dreading.
Ask what shapes the week#
Arrival date, family size and ages, employer, and which wards they are considering. It is the difference between a useful first call and a general one.

Common questions
Can clients book before they arrive in Japan?
Yes, and most do. A video event type shows your availability in their own time zone, and the calendar can be open six months ahead.
How do I sell accompanied days?
As a paid half-day or full-day event type, with the tasks it covers listed in the description. Payment is taken when they book, in yen, into your own Stripe account.
Can I charge different rates for families and individuals?
Yes — separate event types with their own durations and prices, both on the same page.
