Capacity is equipment, not floor space#
A studio that takes bookings by message will eventually accept a seventh person for six machines, and someone will be told at the door. It only has to happen once to lose a client.
The second issue is the ten minutes nobody counts: springs reset, carriage wiped, straps adjusted for the next person’s height. Book classes on the hour with a fifty-minute session and that ten minutes comes out of the class.

The beginner session that protects the class#
A compulsory introductory one-to-one keeps general classes moving. Make it its own event type, priced, with a longer duration, and say in the description that it comes before any group class. Ask about injuries and pregnancy on the form — booking form questions.

Common questions
Can six clients book the same reformer class?
No — one booking takes the slot, so the first person to book it takes the class. Business Box suits private and duet sessions rather than group classes today.
Can I require a private intro session before group classes?
Not as an automatic rule, but in practice yes: make the group class invite-only and send an invite link once someone has done the intro, or state the requirement in the class description and check the booking list.
How do I get time between classes to reset the machines?
Set Buffer after to ten or fifteen minutes on the event type. It is invisible to clients and simply cannot be booked into.
