Your customers want to book at eleven at night
People decide to book when they finally sit down, which is long after you closed. If the only way in is a phone call tomorrow, tomorrow is when they change their mind.
A booking page takes bookings whenever the decision is made and only offers the hours you actually work. The two are separate things, and conflating them is what costs you the evening traffic.
When people actually book#
Evenings, weekends, commutes, and the twenty minutes after the children go to bed. That is when somebody has the headspace to decide they need a dentist, a tutor, a cleaner.
A business that only accepts bookings between 10:00 and 18:00 on weekdays is closed for most of the hours in which the decision is made. The booking does not wait — it goes to whoever was open.
Two different things called "hours"#
When you work and when somebody can book are unrelated, and most manual systems accidentally make them the same. They should not be.
Bookable always, available only when you are#
Your page takes a booking at any hour. What it offers is governed entirely by your availability schedule, so a customer booking at 23:40 on a Sunday is choosing from Tuesday morning. Availability
Protect tomorrow morning#
Minimum notice is what stops a 23:40 booking landing at 08:00. Four hours is the default; a day is common for anything needing preparation.
It has to work on a phone#
Almost all of this traffic is on a phone, one-handed, in bed. Both your booking page and the customer's own booking page are built for that first.
And they need to know immediately#
A booking at midnight that is confirmed at midnight is finished business. A booking request at midnight that gets a reply at ten the next morning is ten hours in which they wonder whether to look elsewhere. Business Box confirms on the spot and sends a calendar invitation with it.

Can people book outside my opening hours?
They can place a booking at any time of day or night. What they can book is only ever the hours in your availability schedule, so late-night bookings land in your normal working times.
How do I stop somebody booking for first thing tomorrow?
Raise Minimum notice on the event type. At 24 hours, nothing in the next day is offered.
Do I have to confirm each booking myself?
No. Bookings are confirmed immediately against your real availability, and you are emailed. There is no approval step to forget.
