Recurring and repeating bookings
Your client comes every Tuesday at ten. There is no way to say that once — each Tuesday is booked on its own.
No. There is no "repeat weekly" option. A client with a standing slot books each appointment individually, though they can book several at a time if you open the calendar far enough ahead.
Who this actually hurts#
Anyone whose business is a standing slot: tutors, music teachers, therapists, personal trainers, cleaners on a fortnightly round. For them the ideal is booking a term or a quarter in one action, and that does not exist.
It matters much less for trades where every booking is a new customer — clinics, salons, tours, viewings.
And the knock-on effects#
- No way to cancel a whole series in one action.
- No way to move a series if your Tuesday changes permanently.
- A client who stops booking simply stops, without the gap being visible.
Open the calendar further than you think#
The closest thing to a series is a client booking several appointments in one sitting. Set Bookable up to to 90 or 120 days on that appointment type and a weekly client can book a term's worth before they leave. Scheduling settings
It is more clicks for them than a repeat option, and in practice most people do it once a term rather than every week.
Or add them yourself#
Add booking creates a booking against any time, and a run of them takes a couple of minutes. The client still gets a confirmation, reminders and their own link to change each one. For a small number of standing clients this is what most hosts end up doing. Adding a booking yourself
And protect the slot in the meantime#
If the worry is somebody else taking your regular client's Tuesday, the practical answer is to book it — either they do, ahead, or you do.
When to use something else#
If your business is genuinely a timetable of standing appointments — a language school running terms, a clinic with twelve-week treatment plans — a tool with proper recurrence will save you real time. This is a gap, not a design opinion.

Can I set up a weekly repeating appointment?
No. Every appointment is booked individually. The nearest equivalent is opening the calendar 90 days ahead so a client can book a term in one sitting, or adding the series yourself.
Can I cancel a whole series at once?
No — each booking is cancelled on its own, and each cancellation emails the client separately.
How do regulars hold their usual slot?
By booking it, ahead. Open the calendar far enough out that they can book several at a time, or add them yourself from the bookings list.
