Class passes, packages and memberships
Ten-class packs are how yoga, Pilates and language lessons are normally sold in Japan. Business Box cannot sell one.
No. Payment is per booking. There is no pass, no package, no credit balance and no recurring membership charge for your customers.
What is missing#
- No packages. You cannot sell ten sessions and have them counted down.
- No customer memberships. No recurring charge to your customers — the only subscription in the system is yours, to us.
- No credit balance or wallet.
- No expiry rules on anything bought in advance.
This lands hardest on studios and teachers, where the pack is not a discount mechanism but the normal way the product is sold.
Sell the pack yourself, book with invite links#
The workaround that holds up best. Sell the ten-session pack however you already do — bank transfer, PayPay, cash, a Stripe payment link — then create an invite-only appointment type that costs nothing to book, and send the customer one single-use link per session.
Each link works once, so it counts the pack down for you. It is manual, and for a handful of pack customers it is perfectly manageable.
Or price per session and forget packs#
Simpler, and worth considering seriously. Set the per-session price online, take payment at booking, and drop the pack entirely. You lose the prepayment and the commitment it buys; you gain never tracking a balance again.
Some teachers split the difference: a slightly lower price for customers who book three sessions at once, enforced by nothing but goodwill.
Or keep booking and money apart#
Make the appointment type free to book and invoice for the pack separately. Business Box becomes the diary and your existing invoicing stays where it is. Nothing is enforced, which is fine when you know your regulars.
The honest summary#
If passes are how you sell, none of these is as good as software that does it properly. If passes are a convenience you could live without, the per-session route removes a whole category of admin.

Can I sell a ten-class pass?

Can I charge customers a monthly membership?
No. There is no recurring charge to your customers — the only subscription in the system is the one you pay us.
Do invite links count a pack down?
In effect. Each link works once and then stops, so issuing ten links for a ten-session pack tracks it, though you create them by hand.
