Somebody else’s logo on your booking page

Your customer has come from your Instagram, clicked your link, and landed on a page that is mostly somebody else’s brand.

In short

Check what the customer sees before you commit: the page itself, the confirmation email, and whether the widget on your site carries a badge. Business Box has no "powered by" requirement on any plan.

Where branding shows up#

  • The booking page — a logo, a footer, a "powered by" line.
  • The confirmation email, which is the one your customer keeps.
  • The widget on your own website, where it is most jarring.
  • The URL. Every booking link is an advertisement for whoever owns the domain.

Why it matters more for a small business#

A large company with a well-known name can carry a booking platform's badge without anyone thinking twice. For a one-person business, the booking page may be the most professional thing a customer sees, and a page dominated by another brand undercuts exactly the impression you need to make.

What Business Box shows#

Your booking page leads with your name and your photo from your Google or Microsoft profile, and lists what you offer with your own colour on each. There is no "powered by" requirement on any plan, including the free one.

The widget, in your colours#

Embedded on your own site, the booking flow takes background, text and accent colours you choose, with everything else mixed from those three. There is a live preview, and the colours are saved with the appointment type, so the code pasted into your site never changes. Making it match your site

You can also hide the name, duration and price where your own page already shows them, which is what makes an embed look like part of your site rather than a panel dropped into it.

What you do not get#

Stated plainly: there is no custom domain, so booking links are app.marubox.jp/your-handle rather than booking.yourbusiness.com. You cannot upload your own logo to the booking page, and you cannot change its fonts or layout.

The way round it is the embed — on your own site, on your own domain, in your colours, the widget is part of your page. For most businesses that is where the customer should be anyway.

Common questions

Does the free plan put branding on my booking page?

No. There is no "powered by" line on any plan, including the free one.

Can I use my own domain for booking links?

No. Links are app.marubox.jp followed by your handle. The alternative is embedding the booking flow in a page on your own domain, which is where most customers should land anyway.

Can I change the colours?

In the embedded widget, yes — background, text and accent, with a live preview. The hosted booking page itself uses a fixed neutral design with your colour on each appointment type.
